Felipe Retamal-Walter is a Speech Pathologist & Audiologist (U. de Valparaíso, Chile) and holds a graduate certificate in higher education (U. Viña del Mar, Chile).
He has teaching and clinical experience working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Chile, and in Australia works as a research assistant for The University of Queensland and the University of Melbourne. He is a current PhD Candidate at the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences (UQ). His research is looking at the nature of engagement in telepractice early intervention for young children with communication disability and their families. Research interests: Mixed-methods research, Paediatric and Adult Hearing Impairment, Family/Client-Centred Care, Communication Disability, Early Intervention, e-Health, telepractice, telerehabilitation.
