Ignacio obtained a bachelor degree in industrial engineering at the Universidad Tecnica Federico Santa Maria in 2012. During this time, he worked in projects at several industries and also tutored in strategic and operations management at Universidad Andres Bello and Universidad Tecnica Federico Santa Maria. Ignacio then worked in strategic planning and business intelligence in Chile. In 2015, Ignacio moved to Australia and completed his master (2016) in technology and innovation management at the University of Queensland, participating in commercialisation projects at iLab and Uniquest.
Nowadays, he is a PhD Candidate at the Science and Engineering Faculty at the Queensland University of Technology. His research interests are in decision-making analysis, innovation management and process engineering.
