Centre for Advanced Imaging-The University of Queensland
I’m a PhD candidate at the Centre for Advanced Imaging (CAI) at the University of Queensland. During my PhD, my research has been focused on the non-invasive localisation of the brain region that triggers seizures in patients with drug-resistant focal epilepsy.
I completed my bachelor degree in Medical Imaging at Universidad Austral de Chile, followed by a Masters of Magnetic Resonance Technology at the Univesity of Queensland sponsored by Becas Chile. My Master research investigated the reliability and reproducibility of track-density imaging (TDI) using 3 Tesla MRI. Throughout my career, I have been mostly working with clinical and research neuroimaging data publishing scientific articles in Chile and in Australia.
I have recently submitted my PhD thesis and currently interested in continuing my research in the area of epilepsy.
